Imi Pono Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, literary, or educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code of 1986, including the purpose to help people in need obtain education, housing and support, all of which shall be accomplished exclusively within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

Expanding transitional housing for clean and sober group living is Imi Pono Foundations priority. Reducing homelessness and where we are going to be most effective in doing this is through our transitional housing program. Imi Pono Foundation is seeking funding to acquire rental properties to provide temporary housing and supportive services to live independently and transition into long-term, permanent housing.
